The Emil is the loud one. A stand collar, a cream yoke carried across the chest and shoulders with scrolled Alpine embroidery-work printed into it, and a check body in seven colours. The check is printed, not woven - the maker's own spec says so and we would rather you knew than found out. What you get for that is colour that holds and a shirt that photographs hard.

Hand wash cold inside out, or use a mesh bag on a delicate cycle. Do not wring. Lay flat or hang to dry away from direct heat. Iron on the reverse at the lowest setting, never over the embellishment.

Measurements are taken flat from the garment by the maker and given in centimetres, with the inch equivalent alongside. Allow 1-3 cm either way on a hand-measured garment. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one.
